Meet the sensitive, shy, silly, and super sweet husky girl of Boston. This is Raya, 2 years old and waiting to find a family to call her own. Raya's history consists staying home with a few family members and romping in the backyard with her siblings- so she's used to a small circle of friends! Here at the shelter, Raya has been doing her best to adjust to the fast-paced city life. While she's still shy at the shelter, Raya has been opening up with staff members and showing off her silly side. Raya loves a cozy secure bed to hunker down in, and will collect all her toys in the room and nestle them in with her. Raya enjoyed romping in the yard with her brother, she loves to prance and zoom and play. We think she could do well in a home with another playful dog that can help Raya adjust. Lastly, Raya has been known to be extremely snuggly once you have been deemed trustowrthy! As she starts to come out of her shell, staff members have been delightfully surprised with Raya running up to them and leaning in for snuggles and scritches!! Raya's looking for a quiet and calm environment where she can settle in and reach her full potential.
