Meet the sensitive, shy, silly, and super sweet husky girl of Boston. This is Raya, 2 years old and waiting to find a family to call her own. Raya's history consists of staying home with a few family members and romping in the backyard with her siblings- so she's used to a small circle of friends! Here at the shelter, Raya has been doing her best to adjust to the fast-paced city life, but is having a hard time. While she's still shy at the shelter, Raya has been slowly opening up to staff members and showing off her silly and snuggly sides as she gets more comfortable. As she starts to come out of her shell, staff members have been delightfully surprised with Raya running up to them and leaning in for snuggles and scritches!! Raya loves a cozy, secure bed to hunker down in, and will collect all her toys in the room and nestle them in with her. We think she could do well in a quieter home with another playful dog that can help Raya adjust and build confidence. Raya is looking for a patient family who doesn't mind a slow burn and will appreciate all of her quirks.
