WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Sonic. A big-hearted boy who’s just looking for his world to feel right again. Sonic is a stunning 2-year-old brown Pit Bull who has spent his whole life in a home, surrounded by the people he loves. Unfortunately, due to landlord restrictions, his family had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him, and it’s clear this sudden change has left him feeling a little lost.Despite the stress of the shelter, Sonic’s sweet nature shines through. He’s great with adults, kids, and other dogs, and he’s already housebroken. He knows what it means to be part of a family. He’s a smart boy too, even knowing how to “sit” in Spanish! Sonic is very food motivated (bacon is a favorite!) and loves toys, especially anything with a ball he can chase or carry around. Right now, Sonic is still adjusting. In the shelter, he can seem a bit timid and unsure. He’ll often look out windows, quietly whining, like he’s searching for the life he once knew. He tends to stick close to his person, sometimes sitting just behind you for comfort and reassurance. It’s his way of saying, “I trust you… I just need a little help feeling safe again.” But underneath that uncertainty is an incredibly loving, affectionate dog who craves connection. He walks nicely on leash, seeks out gentle attention, and melts into cuddles when he feels secure. Once he’s back in a home environment, we expect his playful, energetic personality to really come back to life. Sonic doesn’t need perfection, he just needs patience, love, and someone willing to help him rebuild his confidence. In return, you’ll get a loyal, curious, and deeply devoted companion who will stick by your side through everything.
