More about George

Me:  George, a two year old terrier mix, with a sweet and sassy attitude.  My favorite things are long walks (beach is optional), playing with my people, chew toys, pets and snuggling.  I love car rides and being with my people as much as possible.  I also love to explore and make sure I know what is in any and all purses, bags, backpacks and pockets that come my way.  Some call me nosy, I just call it healthy curiosity.     I am extremely smart (so I've been told) and will do just about anything for a treat.  I've learned so many new things already and would love to have the chance for more treats - I mean training - to really polish up my manners.     I can get a bit rough when playing and am territorial with my toys, so a home with older kids is best.  I'm working hard on potty training and do best on a schedule.  I may grumble when I have to go in my crate, but settle down quickly and sleep through the night.   I don't know what cats are, but I am very interested in other dogs.  I'd like to make friends, but haven't had a lot of practice yet and can come on too strong.  Any other dogs at home will have to be confident and dominant enough to keep me in check.   You:  You're a single person, couple or family without young kids.  No yard?  No problem!  You're happy to take me on daily walks and provide lots of mental stimulation.  You're patient with my puppy energy and willing to help me work on my manners with people and other animals.  Most importantly you're looking for a loyal best friend who will repay all your effort with cuddles, love, and affection. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
