More about Saint

Meet SaintSaint is a 3‑year‑old tan pit bull with a heart as big as his smile. He was adopted from us as a puppy, but after an unexpected adventure where he ran off, he found his way back into our care. Now he’s hoping his next home will be his forever one. This handsome boy will need a fenced‑in yard to help keep his curious spirit safe. He’s fun, playful, and full of life, even if he’s been a little unsure of toys here at the shelter. We’re confident it’s just the stress of a new environment — once he settles into a home, his silly side is sure to shine.Saint is also learning how to play politely with other dogs. He gets excited and sometimes uses his “excited voice” right in another dog’s ear, but with guidance and practice, he’s making progress. He also loves to be heard when exciting things are happening — he’s the kind of dog who wants to join in on the fun and make sure you know he’s part of it.What Saint loves most is people. He greets everyone with a full‑body wiggle, happy hops, and the kind of enthusiasm that makes you feel like the most important person in the world. He’s good with kids who can handle a bouncy pup and all the joy that comes with him.If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s ready for a fresh start, Saint is waiting to meet you.Saint's adoption fee is $175, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
