More about Gemma - ON MEDICAL HOLD!!

She was on the run for three weeks before her body just about gave out on her, she was found almost lifeless in a ditch by animal control.  At the shelter she received some intake vetting and once she got some food and water in her she perked up and started feeling and looking much better.  We named her Gemma and she moved to her temporary foster home in Indiana to get her safe and to work on getting the rest of her needed vetting done. She does very well with other dogs and with cats and is just the sweetest girl ever. Gemma will need to put on some weight before we can schedule her spay surgery.  She will see the vet on 3/24 and we will know much more about her then.  We have estimated her at 5-ish years old.  We will update with more info and more pictures soon!! Gemma has a Minnesota foster home waiting for her when she is all vetted and ready to go!
