More about Phoenix

Phoenix is a stunning 50 lb gray-and-white beauty with a truly unique look—she has heterochromia eyes (one blue and one brown eye) including a striking blue “spike” in her brown eye that makes her unforgettable. We estimate Phoenix to be around 3–5 years old, and we’re currently waiting on a vet appointment to confirm. She’s already showing what a smart, adaptable girl she is—Phoenix uses the dog door to come in the house and rides calmly in the car (though she may need a little help hopping in). At the dog park, Phoenix shines. She’s friendly with dogs of all sizes, even the little ones, and prefers a more relaxed vibe—if things get too rowdy, she simply gives herself space. She’s not aggressive at all and has done well with every dog she’s met so far. Phoenix is very people-oriented and loves being around her humans. She’s gentle and sweet with children, making her a true crowd favorite wherever she goes. On walks, she enjoys taking her time, exploring the world through her nose and soaking in all the smells. She knows her name and has some recall.  We are just getting know Phoenix and plan to update her profile as we learn more.
