Blueberry is a 6-year-old, 17-pound mixed breed who is looking for a fresh start after being returned to our care. Despite the change, his loving personality continues to shine through—he absolutely adores his people and forms strong, loyal bonds with the adults in his life. Blueberry can be a little protective of that love and attention (he doesn’t always enjoy sharing lap time!), but he’s been making great progress and just needs a patient, dog-savvy owner to guide him and reinforce healthy boundaries. He truly wants to do well and thrives with structure and understanding. The good news? Blueberry does well with other dogs in general, and he has shown wonderful improvement around new people. In his foster home, he’s been welcoming visitors like a champ! Even better—he LOVES kids and gets excited whenever they come around.
