Oliver is a senior gentleman with plenty of pep in his step—you’d never guess he’s 10 years old when you meet him! This happy boy is always excited to greet new people and brings a cheerful energy wherever he goes. Oliver enjoys going for walks, chasing tennis balls, and accepting as many treats as anyone is willing to offer. He knows a few basic cues, including sit, shake, and down, though he’ll admit that staying focused can be a challenge when snacks are involved! If asked to sit more than once, Oliver may give you a little back talk—in the cutest way possible—just to remind you he’s ready for his reward. He appears to be potty trained and keeps his space nice and clean. Oliver also walks very well on leash and would be happiest in a home that can provide regular exercise to match his medium energy level. Oliver has been friendly with other dogs while in the shelter, though it is unknown if he has lived with other animals before. If needed, we’re happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet prior to adopting! Oliver is a truly sweet, well-rounded boy who could make a wonderful addition to many different homes.
