More about Mia

Mia's situation is one we hear far too often these days, her family could not find a place to live where she could come too. She is temporarily living with extended family but that is not a long-term arrangement and so Mia is looking for a family who will commit to her, for forever! Mia is a Pyr/Border Collie mix but isn't as high energy as you might expect. She does enjoy a nice hike on the weekends but is also a great couch potato and cuddler! Mia doesn't have much experience with cats but hasn't met a dog she isn't instant friends with! She's a dog park regular and another dog to play with in the home is really a must for her. Mia is sometimes a little slow to warm up to new people, especially men. But just give her a minute or two and you'll soon be good friends. She would love a fenced yard but she's also used to just leashed walks too. She's a good girl when left alone inside.  Mia hasn't ever lived with kiddos but has occasionally been around a few littles and done fine. Respectful kids should be fine with her.  This sweet girl is waiting for her new family in Southern Utah.
