Honey is a little disoriented. She went from the one home she’s known for most of her 4 years to the noisy, concrete & metal shelter— and for no fault of her own. Her human is going through a major life event and just can’t take care of her anymore. This petite sweetheart isn’t showing her soft side in the kennel, either. Loud and restless, it’s hard to see what a gentle soul she is when she’s locked up. Out in the world, she’s quiet, curious and a little cautious. But when you show her kindness, she’s quick to reciprocate with a gentle, shy kiss. She takes treats very politely and doesn’t pull on leash, either. In fact, she lags a little behind you! But if you stop for a break, she sidles right up, just to be near you. She’s been able to be paired with male dogs at the shelter and her previous owner said she loves children, as well.
