My name is Chappy, and I’m a handsome dachshund gentleman looking for my forever home. My dream scenario would be getting adopted with my brother Moose, because we’ve been together our whole lives and we make a pretty great team. Having a dog sibling to run and play with is one of my favorite things!I’m a good listener (my foster mom says so!), and I love a good snuggle when it’s time to relax. When my people are sleeping or away, I do just fine hanging out in my kennel or x-pen. I’ve even had free rein of the house and proved myself to be a very trustworthy boy. No chewing, no trouble, just good manners. I’m still figuring out this whole leash thing, but I’m trying my best and getting better every day. I do need a harness for walks because, like my brother, I’m a bit of a dachshund escape artist with regular collars. I do require a fenced yard to keep me safe.One of my favorite hobbies is perching on the back of the couch and watching the world go by through the window.
