She is a tiny lady with a very big heart, though she keeps it tucked away until she knows she can trust you. She desperately wants to be loved, but the world can still feel a bit big and scary to her. She’s looking for a patient soul who will let her go at her own pace, offering soft words and gentle pets as she realizes she never has to be afraid again.Her Social Life: Dogs: Catherine finds a lot of comfort in the presence of other dogs. Having a confident canine sibling in the home would likely help her come out of her shell much faster! Cats: Given her gentle, timid nature, she is expected to do well with feline friends. Humans: She is a "one-step-at-a-time" kind of girl. She needs an adopter who finds joy in the small victories—the first time she initiates a snuggle or the first time she wags her tail when you walk into the room. Ideal Home: Because Catherine is so small and easily overwhelmed, she would thrive in a quiet, predictable household.
