More about Reed

Reed is still very new to our rescue, but his foster family is already falling for this sweet boy. They describe him as incredibly gentle, cuddly, and just a little bit of an attention hog—in the cutest way possible. If you’re sitting down, Reed would love nothing more than to be right there with you soaking up all the love. His favorite things include wet food, belly rubs, and plenty of cuddles. Reed is a calm, easygoing pup who enjoys relaxing with his people and isn’t destructive around the home.Reed came from a hoarding situation in southern Illinois, so he’s still learning about life in a home. He’s not a big fan of going outside yet and will need help with basic commands and potty training. With patience, consistency, and love, he’s sure to gain confidence and settle into family life beautifully. One thing Reed does know for sure—he loves the company of other dogs! Another friendly pup in the home would be wonderful for him as he continues to learn the ropes.
