More about Ivy

Hello, my name is Ivy! I came to the SPCA when my owner could no longer care for me. I am a sweet young girl with a lot of energy for play-time, but I also enjoy spending quiet moments in bed. Although I have a lot of love to give, I will take some time to get comfortable around you and my new surroundings. I can be timid at first - with both people and dogs - as I was not given the proper tools and experiences as groundwork in my puppyhood. Therefore, I would thrive in a home with patient parents who will give me time, grace, and gentle introductions to new people, items, and experiences at my own pace. Please don't rush me, as confidence is built in slow, small increments, which is exactly what will help me thrive. In time, you'll see just how fun and sweet I can be!
