More about Patch

Patch is a busy boy with a zest for life! He thrives on both mental stimulation and regular exercise, and he absolutely loves getting out for adventures with his people. Patch has been on many Miles & Mutts outings and truly enjoys running alongside his humans—his current record is an impressive 4 miles! While Patch is an active dog, he’s not overwhelming like you might expect. He redirects easily, enjoys attention, and is just as happy to pause for some affection and pets. He’s also a very smart boy who loves to learn. During training, Patch is attentive, eager, and always waiting for his next cue. He currently knows sit, lay down, and touch, and is working on roll over too! With his intelligence and enthusiasm, Patch could easily thrive in activities like agility or advanced training. Patch appears to be potty trained and walks nicely on leash. He’s also very coordinated on walks and seems to have mastered the art of gracefully untangling himself when needed! This happy guy has loved everyone he’s met so far and doesn’t appear to have a shy bone in his body—he’s all wiggles and friendliness. Patch has done well meeting children, though his enthusiasm may be a little much for kids who are unfamiliar with dogs. He also has a consistently friendly demeanor when seeing other dogs and has even worked closely alongside other dogs during training classes. If needed, we’re happy to provide a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption. Patch is full of life and ready to find an owner who shares his adventurous spirit and love for activity!
