Hey there! I’m Gus — a 5‑year‑old, 20‑pound red Boston Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger desire to find my perfect match. I’m cute, I’m quirky, and I’ve got plenty of love (and silliness!) to share. I’m a sensitive guy, and when I’m feeling unsure, I soothe myself by sucking on my blanket. It’s my little comfort routine, and honestly… it’s pretty adorable. I can get anxious in certain situations, and when something really stresses me out — like getting my toes clipped or being handled in a way that makes me nervous — I might growl or lunge to say, “Hey, I need a minute!” I’m not trying to be tough; I just need someone who understands my boundaries and helps me feel safe. Now for the fun stuff: I’m house trained, doggy‑door trained, leash trained, and I’m a total rockstar on walks. I love them. I’m great in the car, I’m obsessed with my chew toys, and I’m always ready for playtime. Give me a toy and a little space to zoom around, and I’m one happy boy. When it comes to other pets, I’m happiest as an only dog or living with a female dog. Male dogs just aren’t my vibe, and cats… well, we’re not a match. What I’m really looking for is a family who appreciates a dog with personality — someone who loves walks, playtime, and a little bit of quirkiness. My adoption fee is $350 We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted.
