Meet Renita — a gentle, velvety-soft soul who just wants to love and be loved. Renita is a 2-year-old, 60-pound sweetheart with a calm, easygoing presence and the softest heart. She’s the kind of dog who naturally gravitates toward her people and is happiest simply being near you — whether that’s following you from room to room or curling up beside you for a nap.  This lovely girl is already housetrained, crate trained, and well-mannered in the car. She knows “sit” and “paw,” and she’s always happy to show off her manners in exchange for a little praise and affection. Renita is affectionate to her core and has the sweetest habit of gently wrapping her paws around you for a hug. She doesn’t ask for much — just companionship, kindness, and a cozy place to rest close to her person. She loves chew bones, quiet time, and simply sharing space with her humans. Ideally, she’d love someone who is home often, like a work-from-home companion. Renita would be happiest as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love, but she may do well with other dogs with slow, thoughtful introductions. She has no experience with small children and would do best with older, respectful kids or an adult-only home. No cats for this girl. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is fully paid for.
