Sophia is a two-year-old gentle sweetheart looking for her forever home!She is an easygoing, sweet girl who would love nothing more than a warm lap to curl up in and snuggle with her people every night. She may be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she warms up and happily greets you with her soft little chirps. Sophia is also wonderfully independent and enjoys spending her afternoons perched high in her cat tree, watching wildlife through the window. She can be delightfully goofy as she bats around her happy camper toy, and she has a playful streak when it comes to string toys on a stick.Sophia is very cuddly and adores quality time with her people, but she is equally content entertaining herself or lounging peacefully in her favorite high spot. Her energy level is calm and relaxed. She is a truly chill girl who does not get into things she should not and appreciates a quiet, cozy environment.She currently lives in the guest bedroom of a home with two adults and shares her space with one other foster cat. While she can do okay with playful young FeLV+ cats, she can be a bit bossy and would truly thrive as the only kitty in the home where she can reign as the queen of her castle. Her ideal home is one without other cats, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. Because Sophia is FeLV+, she cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Sophia maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life.
