More about Smokey

Introducing Smokey- the wobbly little lovebug with a heart of gold !  Smokey is a gentle, low energy  boy with a heart that’s all love. He has a probable  injury  that gives him a wobbly gait  and prevents him from climbing stairs , but it doesn’t stop him from following his people from room to room  and making your lap his  favorite  destination . His greatest joy is simply being near the humans he adores. Smokey is wonderful with kids  who understand  his  need for gentle hands  and  thrives  in a calm, predictable home. He doesn’t need daily walks — just a safe yard  with flat areas  or indoor space where he can toddle around at his own pace. What he does need  is companionship. He’s happiest when someone is home with him, making him a perfect match for a work from home  adopter or a retired family member. He’s incredibly food motivated , eager to please, and full of quiet affection. Smokey isn’t looking for adventure; he’s looking for belonging.
