Hello, I am a sweet and handsome guy that came to OCAS as a transfer from another shelter. I seem very friendly and I did a great job with staff handling me for my intake process (exam, etc.). Visit this page for more information about properly introducing pets.Prancer is a super cute and sweet guy. He might have been named for the reindeer, but he also truly prances on his little paws! It is hard not to fall in love with this boy!Insight from my foster friends and adventure buddies:`Prancer was so great! He's super friendly with all new people. He's overall very calm, but he does enjoy energetic play, and he often does a happy rumble during playtime. He only barks when he gets scared by loud noises (like loud trucks that we passed on walks). We fostered him for a few weeks, and he did great with the crate. He settles right in and doesn't cry overnight or when left home alone. Overall, Prancer was such a sweetheart. He's great with cuddling, but he's also happy being independent and relaxing on the floor by himself. We really loved how sweet and friendly he was and the happy rumbles he does when he gets excited.``Prancer is a curious and friendly pup who loves being outside. He has good manners and impressive “sit” and “down” skills with treat motivation. When inside, he likes to sit on the couch next to you or declare his independence and gnaw on a tough chew toy on the floor. He does great in the car too! We played, roamed and lounged outside in my large fenced-in yard/meadow. He loved playing fetch with a ball and did well retrieving. He really wanted to interact with my neighbor’s dogs which tells me he’s social (we did not though). He did eventually tire and took a snooze on my couch. We had fun! He’s a sweet mix of playfulness and wanting to cuddle on the couch.`
