More about Lola
Meet Lola, a tiny rat terrier with a big personality just waiting to shine. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a bit of time and patience and she warms up quickly. Once she feels safe, Lola turns into a spirited, silly bundle of energy who loves to zoom around, play with toys, and snack on her favorite treats. While she's still getting to know you, it's best to keep handling gentle and limited. Lola can be sensitive in a few areas-especially her hind legs-so moving at her pace helps her feel secure. When she trusts you, though, she blossoms into a total cuddle bug who adores lap time, belly rubs, and being close to her favorite people. Because of her sensitivity with handling, Lola would be most comfortable in a home with children over the age of 10 who can interact respectfully and help her continue building confidence. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but she prefers not to share her space or belongings, so she'll do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the attention. I am eligible for Foster to Adopt! Please speak to a SPCA staff member for more information.
