I’m Roosevelt, a silky black girl with a heart as warm as my coat is smooth. People say I’m as sweet as any cat they’ve ever met, and honestly… I think they’re right. I love gentle voices, soft hands, and the kind of quiet company where I can curl up beside you and purr myself into a little puddle. I’m the type who leans in for affection, blinks slowly to show my love, and makes every moment feel calm and safe. If you’re looking for a tender, loving companion who brings peace just by being near, I’d be honored to be your girl. Estimated Birthdate:  9/1/25 Likes:  Gentle voices, soft caresses, napping on laps. Dislikes:  Not much.  I'm pretty congenial. Foster Update:  5/14/26:  9 month old Roosevelt aka Rosie made herself at home on Day 1.  She didn't hide even for a second and proceeded to check everything out, even using the cat climb to get to the top of the bookcases.  She easily walked over to me to get petted.    That same night she sat on the couch a little away from me, moving closer with each passing day, until Day 6 when she made it clear she wanted to spend some time sitting on me.  She loves to play especially with flying feathers, she can jump high and do amazing twists in the air.  She has very little interest in treats and although I encourage it, does not like to eat a lot of wet cat food.  When I'm not home she seems to spend time under my bed, but comes out to greet me in short order.  Roosevelt is extremely easy going and would make a great addition to any home.
