Pork Chop is… well… your guess is as good as ours! At just 31 pounds, this compact cutie was found as a stray in Fairfield, and he’s a delightful mystery mix wrapped up in one wiggly, high-energy package. From the moment you approach his kennel, Pork Chop greets you with a soft, wiggly body, a happy wagging tail, and an “let’s go!” attitude. He’s incredibly people-friendly and loves making new friends; both human and canine. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for action.This boy is very high energy and can be quite the rambunctious goofball when he gets excited. Jumping, pawing, and some light mouthing are all part of his current enthusiasm toolkit. He pulls strongly on leash and is always ready to zoom, dart, and explore. Pork Chop is social and playful, but he can be forward and pushy in his play style with other dogs. He enjoys chasing and wrestling but will need supervision and guidance to help him learn polite interactions, as he can get mouthy or overly excited. A dog-to-dog meet is recommended, and any playtime will need structure to keep things positive. Because of his strength, energy, and exuberant personality, Pork Chop would likely do best in a home with older children. He’ll need an active household committed to providing plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, training, and enrichment to help him channel his energy in positive ways.
