Meet Neverita, the adorable dilute tortie medium hair-ed gal! Neverita came into the Shelter originally with her littermates as kittens. Upon entry to the Shelter, staff determined that these cats had ringworm (a fungal infection like athletes foot, not an actual worm). An experienced foster parent took Neverita (and her friends) into their care to provide treatment. After completing their treatments, they have been medically cleared for adoption.. which brings us to today!Volunteers who have interacted with Neverita (and her friends) where they are housed in a getting acquainted room. They have noted that they are curious and playful. Neverita and her friends will take turns climbing into your lap and soaking up love (while purring away happily). Neverita has been indoors only and is really enjoying being a part of the family. She may do well with one of her friends in an adoptive home or in a home with an existing feline friend (provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction). Neverita’s adoption fee is reduced to $33 - come to the Shelter today to adopt your very own Valentine!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
