More about Jupiter
Forever Home Wanted: Meet Jupiter! Jupiter’s story is one of heartbreak, resilience, and hope. He was brought into the Riverside shelter with devastating injuries after being found in terrible condition. Jupiter appeared to have suffered significant abuse — he was extremely emaciated, had been shot, and may have also been hit by a car. Despite everything he had endured and the obvious pain he was in, Jupiter remained calm, gentle, and easy to handle. Sadly, the injuries to one of his rear legs were so severe that it could not be saved, and Jupiter had to undergo an amputation. Since then, he has been recovering in a loving foster home where he’s been showered with care, good food, and the kindness he always deserved. The good news? Jupiter is now fully healed, back to a healthy weight, and ready to start the next chapter of his life. His foster says he is doing great and is such a loving boy. He enjoys running around with the male dogs in his foster home and has been doing well with them. Jupiter is proving every day that losing a leg has not dimmed his spirit — he’s adapting beautifully and is ready to find a family to call his own. Jupiter has been through more than any dog ever should, and now he deserves a home filled with safety, love, and happy new memories.
