More about Aurora
Aurora - Meet the sweetest adventure buddy you could ever hope for! This lovely girl is the total package: car‑ready, kid‑friendly, dog‑friendly, gentle, affectionate, and an absolute joy to take anywhere. She hops into the car, settles immediately, and loves a good nose‑out‑the‑window moment. On walks, Aurora shares water and treats with other dogs like a polite little lady and takes treats so gently you’ll barely feel it. Aurora is wonderfully easy to handle on leash, stopping when you stop and following your lead with no fuss. She’s curious and calm around other animals — squirrels, birds, unleashed dogs, even cats in crates at the pet store. She gave one startled bark when a cat moved suddenly, then politely walked away. With slow intros and supervision, she may very well be cat‑compatible. She’s affectionate, loves kisses, belly rubs, brushing, and cuddles, and she’s great with kids of all ages. She’s playful too, happily entertaining herself with toys and showing adorable fascination with moving water at the creek. Aurora can be a bit unsure around unfamiliar men, but she warms up beautifully with patience and positive experiences. A home with a woman, or a couple who can help her build confidence, would be perfect. She has fantastic endurance — she walked from 9 to 3 without missing a beat — making her an ideal hiking or running partner. She’d thrive in a quiet home or with a calm dog friend. Crowds can be overwhelming for her right now, but she handles them politely and will improve with gentle exposure. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who’s ready for adventure and snuggles, she’s your girl.
