Meet Daire!  Daire is a beautiful 5-month-old terrier mix with a playful personality, a loving heart, and the sweetest puppy eyes. At her current age, she weighs about 25 pounds. She’s the perfect combination of fun-loving adventurer and cuddle bug, who is always ready for playtime, but equally happy curled up beside you on the couch. This smart girl is already making great progress with her training. She is doing wonderfully with house training, already knows "sit," and is working on her leash skills. Daire is eager to learn and loves spending time with her people, making her a great candidate for continued training. Daire is also incredibly social. She currently lives with both dogs and cats in her foster home and gets along beautifully with everyone. She enjoys playing with her canine friends, but she's also content entertaining herself with a favorite bone or chew toy. One of her favorite activities is playing fetch in the backyard. She loves running after toys, stretching her legs, and then settling down with a good chew session afterward. But what really makes Daire special is her affectionate nature. She absolutely loves people and thrives on being close to her family. After she gets her puppy energy out, you'll often find her curled up next to you for snuggles, happily soaking up all the attention and affection she can get. Like any young puppy, Daire will need a family committed to continuing her training, socialization, and helping her grow into the amazing adult dog she's destined to become. In return, she'll provide endless love, laughter, companionship, and plenty of couch cuddles. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
