Meet Binky.A 4-year-old, ~50 lb Lab/Shar-Pei mix with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart.Binky didn’t come to us from a warm couch or a family that loved her. She was one of eight dogs dumped on a rural back road like garbage—scared, confused, and just trying to survive. It’s painfully clear she was used for breeding, litter after litter, before being abandoned when she was no longer “useful.” No dog deserves that. Ever.But here’s where the story turns.Binky is learning.Learning that hands can be kind.Learning that food will always come.Learning that life can be soft, and people can be good.She has started to play, to wag her tail without hesitation, and to lean in for love. She’s rediscovering joy—and watching her bloom has been nothing short of beautiful.Binky does wonderful with other dogs and truly seems to draw comfort and confidence from their presence. She’s playful, gentle, and working every day on becoming a happy, carefree girl—something she was never allowed to be before.We promised her one thing:She will never be left behind again.If you have room in your home—and your heart—for a dog who deserves the world, Binky is ready to meet you.Her past may have been heartbreaking, but her future is full of hope. And maybe, just maybe, you are part of that future.Puppies 6 months and under are typically $200 and dogs from 7 months to 6 years are typically $100.00. The adoption fee may be higher or lower than stated however, and is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run discount specials and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee.Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an "Adopt one, bring another one home for free" adoption special!
