Story: Sweetness comes to us from a shelter in Alabama. We are so happy to have her safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Sweetness is a sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Sweetness is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Sweetness will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Sweetness is doing great and really warming up as she’s settling in. She's a shy dog initially, but incredibly sweet and loves to cuddle on the couch. She'll have energy and will play early in the day until about noon and then spend the rest of the day napping away until dinner time. She does chew on things she's not supposed to, but is easily redirected with a chew toy. She’s perfectly crate trained and will often go into the crate to nap on her own. Sweetness is great with my cat - very respectful sniffs and then walks away and they've been napping on opposite sides of the couch the last few days. She is great with other dogs as well, can be nervous around people, but overall a very sweet and chill puppy. The fee to adopt Sweetness is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
