More about Luna

Luna was born about September 17, 2024 and weighs about 55 pounds.  It was a very sad day when her family received word that the owner of their rental had passed away and the house was going up for sale and they were forced to move.  The tried to find a new place for the family and 2 dogs but no vacant rentals were to be found.  We welcomed Luna to Joyful Rescues and she was wonderful with the other like sized dog she lived with and the cats and she were good snuggle friends.  The kids were as young as 2 and she was always wonderful with them.  She is house trained, enjoys car rides and loves to go for walks on leash which she does well with.  Due to her possible Husky heritage she should have a fenced yard or be leashed.  This pretty blonde girl is here through no fault of her own and we hope to find her another home, a forever home, soon. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
