More about Perla

Hi - I’m Perla! I’m a joyful, mixed-breed brindle girl who is ready to bring a whole lot of love and laughter into my future home. I’m probably around a year old and am still very much in my puppy phase (but without any puppy teeth!). I currently weigh about 35 pounds and may grow a bit more, but I already have a big, happy presence and a personality that shines.   My foster parents say I’m energetic, affectionate, and delightfully silly. I completely melt into your arms once I’m done playing, and my adorable ears (each with a mind of its own), only add to my charm. I approach life with enthusiasm and love everyone and everything I meet, including people of all ages, other dogs, toys, and all the treats.   I’m eager to learn and already know a bag of tricks! I have been making steady progress with potty training and using the doggy door, with mostly accident-free days. I’m also working on normal puppy manners, learning to settle after excitement, and becoming more comfortable alone in my crate.   I would be thrilled to have another playful dog in the home and I love watching the backyard chickens from a safe distance. My play style can be a bit big and fast, but I’m great at taking corrections from my pals.
