Hello there! My name is Eddie! What’s yours? I’m a sweet, friendly, and curious guy who was pretty nervous in the shelter, but I'm doing really well in my foster home. They don’t know much about my history, but I do enjoy gentle affection, treats, and chew toys and bones! I’d love opportunities to explore and get regular enrichment, keep learning basic manners, and generally have fun! Come visit me today and see if we're a perfect match! Kids: 8+, may be jumpy or mouthy Dogs: Some friendly sniffing, no play seen, prefers gentle dogs.  Cats: Eddie would do best in a home with no cats, dog-savvy cats, or with an adopter who is willing to be patient and take the time to supervise slow, gradual interactions between Eddie & their cats. Heartworm positive – Eddie has completed his heartworm treatment, yay! After a few more weeks of restful recovery time, it will be safe for him to return to chasing tennis balls and going for longer walks. He's ready :) More about Eddie from his time in foster care: Eddie is a chill guy who enjoys relaxing on the couch, cuddling, and napping -- which is perfect, since he's undergoing heartworm treatment and needs to take it easy! When he's not cuddling or relaxing, Eddie loves to chew on bones, play with toys, sunbathe, and sniff around the yard. He's a medium-sized guy, around 3 years old. He is crate- and house-trained, and he's very affectionate, attentive, smart, and eager to please
