  Callie is a beautiful torbi — a stunning blend of tortoiseshell with soft tabby markings. She has medium-length fur and a full, dramatic tail she carries like royalty. After raising her kittens, Callie is ready for a life where she can be the one getting all the love. She is a total lovebug. After breakfast, she’ll come find her person, curl up for pets, and happily flop over for her favorite belly rubs — yes, she truly loves them. Callie is ready for a home where she can be adored as the affectionate, devoted companion she is. In her foster home, she was just beginning to adjust to other adult cats, with some initial hissing (which is normal for introductions). In full transparency, Callie was returned from a previous adopter after about two weeks because she did not get along with their cats. While we don’t know all the details of that situation, we want to be honest that she may do best as an only cat. If placed with another cat, she will need a patient adopter willing to go slow and give her plenty of time to settle.
