Meet Bodhi — your future adventure buddy and loyal best friend! Bodhi is an approximately 18-month-old male German Shepherd mix weighing around 72 pounds who was found off Horizon Road near Rockwall Custom Frames and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Now he's ready to leave his past behind and find the forever family he's been waiting for. This handsome boy loves being around people and enjoys social time with everyone he meets. Including other dogs! Even though he has made some doggie friends here at RAC, if you already have a pup at home, a meet and greet is recommended to ensure everyone gets along and starts off on the right paw. Bodhi is respectful of his surroundings and keeps his kennel clean, never shredding toys or bedding — a wonderful indicator that he's either potty trained or will be easy to house train with consistency. He walks well on a leash and would enjoy basic training to help him continue growing into a confident, well-mannered companion. At heart, Bodhi is a classic shepherd mix: loyal, attentive, and happiest when he's included in everyday life. Whether it's walks, backyard time, or just hanging out with his people, he's ready to be someone's steady companion and best friend. His adoption fee is $125. Bodhi is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, and basic boosters. He did test positive for heartworms but, thanks to Rockwall PAWS, Bodhi will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to his adopters.
