More about Pecan

Pecan is a real sweetheart! He is very loving and food crazy. He could survive on those alone-love and food! He is learning to listen to commands like come and stop. He gets along with adults ad other dogs, has shown not to be too fond of kids yet. He runs away from them and seems afraid. He is willing to be crated but has a small window he can handle before needing to go out. He has separation anxiety. Pecan is leash trained. He is working on his housetraining.Pecan, along with some other dogs we have like Trudy and Shug, came from a hoarding situation. These dogs will do best in a home where someone stays at home, and even better-has a dog door. They will require patience as they have never lived in a normal environment so need time to adjust. They have wonderful foster families who are doing their best to assist but patience is truly key here.
