Meet Thorsten — our leading man who prefers rehearsal to red carpets.This striking Shepherd mix has the kind of looks that could stop traffic, but he’d rather focus on his craft than chase the spotlight. Confident and steady, Thorsten carries himself like a seasoned pro. Though he’s a larger boy, his energy is beautifully balanced — present, engaged, but never over the top.Fetch is his signature role. He loves the thrill of the chase and proudly brings the ball back for an encore. He already knows “wait,” pausing patiently for the next throw, and he’s diligently workshopping his “drop” cue. Eager, attentive, and responsive, he takes direction well.On leash, Thorsten shows solid manners. He may lean into a scene with a moderate pull now and then, but he quickly finds his rhythm and settles in. When excitement gets the best of him, he can jump, yet he responds graciously to guidance.On a recent warm afternoon, he dipped his paws into his water bowl — a quiet nod to a future that might include a kiddie pool or splash time between takes.Thorsten may avoid the paparazzi, but in person, his presence is undeniable.
