I am Rushmere and I am looking for my forever person/family. I am such a handsome guy who always looks a little crabby, even when I am purring my heart out! Haha. I am a very playful guy who can jump like you wouldn’t believe. I love racing around and playing with toys! I can be a little nervous about new people and situations, but it doesn’t take me long to adjust and then I purr like crazy and enjoy sitting in laps while getting attention. I am being fostered with “Ditmas” and we will need to be adopted together! We aren’t brothers but we’ve been together for many months now and are a bonded pair. Since I am a bit more reserved initially than Ditmas, he helps me feel more confident! There are dogs of all sizes in my foster home, and I get a little nervous around them, but I have no doubts that I would fit into a house with dogs fine after getting used to them! I would just need a little time to gain confidence in my new situation. If you are looking for a super playful, sweet guy, look no further!Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
