Meet Athena — a 3-year-old female who is playful, treat-obsessed, and absolutely convinced she signed up for the Iditarod. Athena loves treats (deeply, passionately), enjoys foraging for snacks, and is always ready for toys and a spirited game of tug-of-war. When playtime starts, she brings the enthusiasm. When treats appear, she brings the focus. Her buddy Artic clearly taught her some elite sled-dog techniques, because Athena pulls on leash like she’s racing for glory, honor, and a finish line only she can see. Walks with her are less “leisurely stroll” and more “winter sport training montage.”Athena and Artic were found together after apparently hearing all the barking and deciding to check into what they thought was a fun doggie hotel. Turns out, no room service… but plenty of new friends to meet.
