Forever Home Wanted: Meet Hugo! Hugo is a 24 lb pug mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. This little guy is happiest when he’s with his humans or hanging out with other dogs. He’s your typical happy-go-lucky, full-of-energy, wiggly puppy who absolutely loves toys and is always ready for playtime. He’s been fostered with an 80 lb shepherd and an 8 lb chihuahua, and he does great with both. Hugo enjoys playing with his dog friends but also does a wonderful job respecting their space when playtime is over. Hugo is also being fostered with a toddler, and he has proven to be incredibly gentle and sweet with young children. He’ll happily chase after them during play without jumping or knocking them over, and he takes treats softly and politely; making him a wonderful candidate for a home with kids. Potty training and crate training are still a work in progress, but Hugo is making improvement. He’s looking for a family who will continue to train him so he can keep growing into the well-mannered pup we know he can be.
