Adoption fee: $700 Meet Snow White Snow White is a 1–2 year old Terrier mix weighing 13.6 lbs who was rescued from the shelter after being surrendered there with her puppies. Her babies have all found their homes, and now it’s Snow White’s turn to be someone’s beloved companion. She is a gentle, quiet dog with a calm presence and a sweet, expressive face that draws people in immediately. Daily routine: Snow White starts her day around 7:30 AM. She has breakfast at about 8:00 AM and then enjoys a morning walk around 9:00 AM, which is one of her favorite parts of the day. During the day, she spends much of her time resting comfortably in her bed, happily observing what’s going on around her. She goes out into the backyard as needed for potty breaks and fresh air. While she enjoys activity, she also truly appreciates a peaceful routine and downtime. Personality: Snow White is a very quiet, calm girl. When she first arrived, she was relaxed and not particularly shy, and her personality has remained steady as she’s settled in. She enjoys being around people and prefers not to be left alone for long stretches, but she is not clingy. She likes being in the same room as her people, quietly sharing space rather than demanding attention. She is affectionate in a gentle way— she enjoys pets and companionship but does not like being grabbed or forced into laps. She’s happiest when affection comes on her terms, making her a great match for someone who appreciates a dog with clear, respectful boundaries and a soft, calm demeanor. Interactions with dogs and people: Snow White does not live with another dog, but she shows a lot of interest in other dogs while out on walks. She can get overexcited and will try to run toward dogs or people she sees, sometimes becoming vocal in her enthusiasm. Her tail is wagging during these moments, and it appears she’s eager to say hello and make new friends rather than being fearful or aggressive. She previously met other small dogs at the shelter and did well with them. Energy level and play style: Snow White is more of a relaxed companion than a playful entertainer. She isn’t very interested in toys or indoor play, but she becomes animated and excited when it’s time to go out. The sound of the leash immediately gets her attention, and she happily comes over to get ready for her walk. On leash: Snow White loves going for walks and is still learning polite leash manners. She tends to want to get close to anyone she sees outside, whether it’s a person or another dog. With continued practice and gentle guidance, she should continue improving and gaining confidence on leash. House training and behavior: Snow White is fully house trained and has never had an accident in her foster home. She does not chew, dig, or bark unnecessarily. While she does bark on occasion, she is generally very quiet indoors and does not react to people coming and going in the home. What makes Snow White special: Snow White stands out for her peaceful nature and excellent manners. She is quiet, fully potty trained, and content simply being near her people. She offers affection in a calm, understated way that feels steady and comforting. Favorite things: Snow White absolutely loves her walks, and her beautiful, expressive eyes make it hard not to stop and pet her whenever she looks your way. Snow White is a gentle soul who has already done her job raising her puppies—now she’s ready to enjoy a life of comfort, companionship, and quiet love in a home of her own.
