She's a quiet girl (only barking when she's outside on the hunt) but her eyes and wiggly tail tell you everything you need to know. She's potty trained and sleeps well in her crate overnight. This sweet girl has clearly been through a lot, yet she meets every moment with quiet hope. She’s underweight and still catching up on good meals, but her face lights up when the food bowl comes out. Delaney is eager for love and attention, though she asks for it so politely — a gentle nudge, a small wag, or a look that says, “I’d love some affection, if you have a moment.” Common for her breed, Delaney would thrive in a home with a fenced yard to run and follow her nose, and a home where someone is frequently home and ready to curl up on the couch with her. She’s learning that she’s safe now — that kind hands are here to stay, and that it’s okay to take up space.
