Meet Rascal – a Chatty, Affectionate Charmer!Rascal lives up to his name in the very best way. This active, friendly boy is full of personality and loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. He’s an affectionate companion who enjoys head scratches, will happily nuzzle in for more pets, and appreciates a cozy blanket where he can lounge and relax between bursts of activity.Rascal is quite the conversationalist and enjoys “talking” to his humans. He’s playful and energetic, with a big love for toys like balls, string, and feather wands. Interactive play is a great way to bond with him and help burn off his extra energy—especially since he tends to stay active at night.He has lived indoors, is comfortable around men, and enjoys being petted. He uses a covered litter box with clumping clay litter and has excellent litter box habits. He does enjoy scratching and will happily use a vertical scratching post!Rascal was diagnosed with asthma,but we have experienced only a couple of very mild asthma episodes. As advised by MCASAC Vet Staff, we have decreased the frequency and dosage of his steroids and weaned completely off anti-anxiety medication. He is very calm in our house and has shown no anxiety at all. We administer his inhalant medication using a surgical mask. He runs over when he sees us holding his inhaler because he knows he gets treats with it! If you’re looking for a social, loving cat with lots of character, Rascal may be your perfect match.
