Tiny body, BIG personality, and zero concept of personal space.Cammy is the kind of dog who doesn’t just want to be near you… she wants to be ON you. Lap? Taken. Personal bubble? Gone. Heart? Also hers now.At just 11 pounds, she is the ultimate little shadow dog who will follow you from room to room and happily glue herself to your side (or your lap) every chance she gets. The good stuff:• Fully potty trained• Crate trained and settles well when needed• Dog-friendly with larger dogs she’s familiar with• Sweet, affectionate, and seriously loves her people• Rarely vocal• A+ cuddler and certified lap dogHer personality:Cammy is spunky, snuggly, and VERY attached to her person. She is happiest when she’s with you and thrives on attention and companionship. If you’ve been looking for a true little best friend… this is your girl. What she’s working on:• Can get a little too excited around other dogs and needs help reading social cues• Will lunge toward small animals on leash (she thinks everything is worth chasing )• Still learning basic commands like sit and come• Has some serious hops… this girl can clear 4 feetIdeal home:• Someone home more often than not• A person or couple looking for a constant companion• Structured environment with continued training• No cats or small animalsCammy isn’t a “leave her alone all day” kind of dog. She’s a be your sidekick, your shadow, your little ride-or-die kind of dog. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ:    •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.    •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.    •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.
