I’m Dex, a 6½‑year‑old, 25‑pound boy with a sweetheart, a playful streak, and a whole lot of love to give. I’m confident in who I am, so I’d do best as the only dog in the home — I like having my people all to myself. I also like submissive females as I have been around a few girls my whole life and I kinda like them.  I’m house trained, crate trained, and great with kids, which makes settling into a new routine pretty easy for me.  I do need a little work on the leash. I’d be a wonderful companion for a senior too, especially someone who enjoys a mix of calm company and bursts of fun. Even though I’m past the puppy stage, I’ve still got plenty of energy. I love toys, I love playtime, and I love being part of whatever you’re doing. One thing to know about me: I can’t resist chasing small animals, so I need a cat‑free home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, playful companion who’s ready to be your one‑and‑only, I think we might be a perfect match. My adoption fee is $350. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted.
