Nellie is a 10‑month‑old Lab mix (55 lbs) with the sweetest personality and the happiest smile you’ll ever see. She’s spent a long time waiting for her forever home, but this girl hasn’t let that dim her spirit one bit. As a Lab mix, Nellie is not on common rental or homeowners insurance restriction lists, making her an easy companion for adopters in apartments, homes, and everywhere in between. Foster Notes – The Glow-Up Is Real Since moving into her foster home, Nellie has blossomed. Her eyes are brighter, her tail never stops wagging, and she’s gained healthy muscle and confidence. She’s learning commands quickly and loves showing off her adorable belly for rubs. Roll over + belly = instant Nellie happiness. Dog-Friendly, Cat-Respectful, People-Loving Nellie did amazing during intake—calm, gentle, and polite. She happily hung out with other dogs and even ignored cats, even when they darted around.
