More about Mika

Mika is a very sweet, energetic, and playful 2 year old Chihuahua mix.  She is equally happy playing with various toys, especially the squeaky ones, as she is just napping nearby.   She is house-trained, though can have little accidents if she gets too excited and hasn't been outside in a while.  She does well going into her kennel and only gives a little "Sorry to see you're leaving" whimper. She's spent up to 6 hours in her kennel without issue.    She has done well with my smaller dog and is cautiously curious about my two cats, though I can tell she'd really like to play along with them.   She loves going on walks and goes to the end of the leash without pulling.  She has done well during the one car ride so far.  No barking,  rather just checking out both windows and lying down on the seat.    She has learned to sit and lie down on command so far.  She loves getting the treats included with the training.    Overall she's a very affectionate, loving dog that would make a great addition to a forever family Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
