More about Grumpy

Grumpy was given his name because he wasn't the happiest camper when he arrived to the shelter as a stray. He still doesn't really like to be handled, but has started rolling over for pets! He's about 5 years old and has likely been living as a stray for a while- he has lots of scars and looks a little on the rough side! We heard him Purr today for the first time and it was such a happy sound! He nudges into you really firmly when you’re petting him. He is coming around very nicely! His new parents will just need to be patient with him while he adjusts. All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract.  We do not do same day adoptions.
