Meet Maeve Professional Snuggler Seeking Forever Human Maeve is a stunning 3-year-old ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. As a former puppy mill momma, she is just beginning to discover what it truly means to be a dog — and watching her blossom is something special. This gentle, affectionate girl lives for lap snuggles, cozy pillow naps, and being close to her people. Maeve is very much a “why wouldn’t I be on your lap?” kind of sweetheart. She finds comfort in companionship and will happily follow you from room to room, soaking up the simple joys of a safe and loving home. Maeve has a moderate activity level and enjoys short walks. She is learning leash skills and house-training basics and approaches both with a quiet eagerness to please. Each day she grows a little more confident as she realizes the world isn’t such a scary place after all. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion to help continue building her confidence. Outdoors, she’s polite and easygoing, calmly ignoring other dogs and even squirrels, making a fenced yard optional. Maeve has no known medical issues and simply requires the routine grooming typical of her breed. What she truly needs is a patient, loving home where she can continue her journey — one filled with gentle reassurance, soft beds, and plenty of affection. Maeve missed out on the carefree puppy years most dogs get. Now it’s her turn. She’s ready to trade her past for a future full of love, security, and someone to call her very own. Maeve's adoption donation is $525, and she is being fostered in Central Ohio. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home — she has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines, including rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and Bordetella. Maeve has tested negative for heartworm and has been started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and she has also had a dental cleaning.
