Well, those definitely helped me realize that humans might be pretty great after all. Over time, I’ve learned to enjoy being near people, quietly sharing space and companionship in my own way. I may not be the kind of kitty who jumps into your lap right away—or maybe ever—but I will be there beside you. I just need a little time, a little patience, and a lot of understanding as I settle into a new home.
